Which is better or Hatha Yoga Kundalini. WHY? What is the best style of yoga. WHY?

I started practicing yoga this year and hatha yoga asanas and I liked the calming effects and all … It really helped me with my back problem. This month, when I got to class I was surprised to find a new trainer and he's teaching Kundalini. It's a bit "strange" and interesting at the same time, but I know it's not my cup of tea. lol It's a great instructor though. Pace is too fast shake and everything. and a few days ago my mom emailed me with this friends. ~ ~ ~> kundalini stay away from things. that is not better than nothing. hazardous to your health – spiritually, emotionally and mentally. continue with yoga (getting a DVD set Wai Lana.) Why would this mean? I know she comes from a concern for me, but I'm embarrassed to ask why you feel this way about kundalini …

Yoga Styles Guide Although there are many styles of yoga, the differences tend to be of importance, such as focusing on strict alignment of the body, coordination of breath and movement, holding the postures, or the flow of a posture to another. All styles share a common ancestry. In fact, the founders of the three major styles – Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga – were all students of Krishnamacharya, a famous teacher at the Yoga Institute in Mysore Palace in India. Two other styles, Integral and Sivananda, were created by disciples of the famous guru Sivananda. No style is better than another, is simply a matter of personal preference. More important than any style is the student-teacher relationship. Ananda Yoga is a classical style hatha yoga that uses asana and pranayama to awaken, experience, and begin to control the subtle energies within oneself, especially the energies of the chakras. Its aim is to use those energies to harmonize body, mind and emotions, and above all to attune oneself with higher levels of consciousness. A unique feature of this system is the use of silent affirmations while in the asanas as a means of working more directly and consciously with the subtle energies to achieve harmonization. Ananda Yoga is a relatively gentle, inward experience, not an athletic or aerobic practice. It was developed by Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic, Autobiography of a. Yogi Anusara Anusara (a-nu-SAR-a) means "step on the flow of the Divine Will," "after of your heart "," flowing with Grace ", to" go with the flow of divine will. BKS Iyengar is one of the best known yoga teachers and the creator of one of the most popular styles of yoga in the world. His style of yoga is characterized by great attention to detail and precise alignment of postures, and the use of accessories such as blocks and belts. Undoubtedly, part of Iyengar success is due to the quality of teachers, who must complete a rigorous training program of 2-5 years for certification. Kali Kali Ray Ray Triyoga Triyoga, founded by Kali Ray, brings the posture, breathing and focus to create dynamic and intuitive flows. The Tri Yoga flows combine flowing and sustained postures that emphasize the movements of the spine waveform, the economy of movement, and synchronization with breath and mudra. There are three stages in Kripalu yoga. The first phase focuses on learning the postures and exploring your bodies abilities. The second step is in holding the postures for an extended time, developing concentration and inner awareness. The third phase is like a moving meditation on the movement of one posture to another arises unconsciously and spontaneously. Kundalini Kundalini yoga in the tradition of Yogi Bhajan, who brought the style to the West in 1969, focuses on control the release of Kundalini energy. The practice involves classic poses, breathing, coordination of breath and movement, meditation. Sivananda Sivananda is one of the world's largest schools of yoga. Developed by Vishnu-Devananda and the name of his teacher, Sivananda yoga follows a set structure that includes pranayama, classic asanas, and relaxation. Vishnu Devananda wrote one of the contemporary yoga classics, The Book of Yoga. First published in 1960, the book remains one of the best introductions to yoga available. Svaroopa yoga developed by Rama Berch, Svaroopa Yoga teaches many different ways to represent family, emphasizing the opening of the spine beginning at the tailbone and progressing through each spinal area in turn. All the positions includes the principles foundational asanas, anatomy and yoga philosophy, and emphasizes the development of transcendent inner experience, called Svaroopa by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. It is a consciousness-oriented yoga that also promotes healing and transformation. Svaroopa sports is not an effort but a development of consciousness using the body as a tool. Viniyoga Viniyoga is not so much a style as it is a methodology for the development of practices on the conditions and purposes. This is the approach developed by Sri. T. Krishnamacharya, teacher of the famous contemporary masters BKS Iyengar, K. Pattabhi Jois and Indra Devi, and continued by his son, TKV Desikachar. Feature key to the asana practice are the careful integration of the flow of breath with movement of the spine, with sequencing, adaptations and intensity depends on the overall context and objectives. The role emphasizes that way. Practices may also include pranayama, meditation, reflection, study and other classic elements. Personal practices are taught privately. Given the scope of practice, the inherent therapeutic applications and heritage of the lineage, the training requirements for teacher certification are extensive.
